    In layman’s term, mobile marketing is about, how it is made with the help of mobile phones. In the olden days, the advertisements/promotions done only in Newspapers, TV, Radio. But after the 20th century, the advertisements are done in cellular phones (mobile phones) via sending SMS, emails, or app advertisements (social medium) used in.  The history of mobile marketing is, the first it was invented in 1992 but it was used in the 2000s. So, it came into existence in the 20th century. And it became one of the famous digital marketing.  

  • DEFINITION:

    The definition given by different authors related to it are as follows:

According to Margaret Rouse defines it as “As a promotional activity designed for delivery to cell phones, smartphones, and other handheld devices, usually as a component of a multi-channel campaign.”

According to Andreas Kaplan defines mobile marketing as “Any marketing activity conducted through a ubiquitous network to which consumers are constantly connected using a personal mobile device.”
